Why are the interviewers constantly spoon feeding questions and trying to make excuses for poor performances? Fine margins my arse, it's only fine margins when you eventually learn to make those margins work in your favour, but we're doing nothing of the sort - we're just finding new ways to turn points winning opportunities into defeats. I'd like to think that the club will get to the bottom of why that is, but they won't, because whoever is at fault it'll be DC that gets the bullet. Get rid of Simon Wilson and things will improve, I'm absolutely convinced of that, but instead we can just look forward to introducing our fourth manager in less than two years!

I’m not a fan of SW particularly if he’s been involved with the coming’s & going’s of certain players. The clubs current situation lies with the players themselves, as only they can influence the outcome of the result. Secondly DC. As he seems unable to correct the many problems with the team’s performances. His post match interviews confirms this & so do the individual comments. They don’t make particular good reading but repeat what I’ve been saying in my recent posts.

I agree that it does seem that DC is struggling to find the answers, but I can't help but wonder if there are other factors involved and wonder if some of the posts over on YB do have a point. Look at the two Summer transfer Windows, then look at the turnaround in fortunes when Robert Elstone was at County. Simon Wilson was seen and heard a lot before that and we were awful, including interviews with Keighren and adding his comments on new signings on COWS etc. Elstone came in, Rusk was replaced with DC and things improved rapidly, with Wilson nowhere to be seen or heard. I think Elstone left before the end of the season, but we were well on the way to promotion by then. When promotion was realised, Wilson was seen and heard again in again in interviews with Keighren and comments on new signings on COWS etc. There's got to be something in that and I think he's sticking his oar in again this season. We're back in the FL, we're on the radar again and I think he is wanting to make the most of it, to boost his own profile by meddling in first team affairs - that's the kind of guy he seems to me. I'm not saying DC is free from blame, far from it, but I honestly don't think this poor start is just on him.
