With only 10 days to go before next season's fixtures are issued for the EFL, shall we, as is customary, run our usual mini-predictions/guessing game along the lines of:
1. Opening-day opponents?
2. First midweek opponents?
3. Boxing Day opponents?
4. New Year's Day opponents?
5. Final-day opponents?
(So far as I can tell, we shall no longer have the festive double-headers against the same opponents as we did in the National League.)

No need to start a new thread but just to note that County have been drawn with Port Vale and Shrewsbury in Group C for the Papa John's Trophy. A Premier League U21 side will complete the group with that draw on Thursday.

Depends which team DC decides to play. This should give the fringe players some competitive action if nothing else. |
