Really refreshing to see a young, talented, and incredibly wealthy footballer acting with such compassion and maturity.
So many times you see kids coming through at the big clubs that have been mollycoddled from a young age. As soon as they start to break through into the first team, for most of them the only thing that can keep up with the exponential increase in their financial means is their ego.
Rashford seems totally different. He’s a lad who has not had a particularly affluent childhood but has never forgotten his roots. He’s now using his profile and platform to try and make a real change for the poorest kids in the county and it is thoroughly commendable. With the character and mindset he has publicly displayed over the last 12 months I am not at all surprised that he has and is making the most of his talent.

Forget John Lewis, Amazon and all the other usual suspects with their schmaltz-riddled cheesefests, this year's co-op Christmas advert hits all the right notes for me.
Two kids go busking outside their local co-op to cheer up the customers during the pandemic, singing the classic 'Round Are Way' by Oasis, then refusing any money for their performance as they just wanted to go out and cheer people up - what's not to like?!

Richard Ayoade
To say he's quirky would be an understatement, but he's seriously good TV.

Steven Gerrard taking Rangers to within touching distance of their first title for ten years.
It's been a rocky road since their liquidation, one that starved Scottish football of one of the greatest League derbies in world football for almost half of that period.
I'm really pleased for Gerrard, as I've always seen it as a huge injustice that a player of his immense calibre never won an English Premier League title, but I'm sure that winning the SPL trophy during his first spell as a manager will be equally as significant.
While I have always wanted the blue half of Glasgow to do well, even more so since Paul Gascoigne's time at Ibrox, the SPL needs a strong, competitive Old Firm rivalry, so for this reason I hope that Celtic can make the right appointment to ensure that rivalry is much healthier next season.
Of course, I'll always want Rangers to win, but it wouldn't mean much if Celtic weren't in the mix to put up a fight. They both need each other, and world football needs them going toe to toe once again.

Delightfully, a “wackeldackel” is German for nodding dog.
