Yes I am what a finish. Well deserved win as Verstappen was better over the whole season. Hamilton has 7 titles, now's the time for the other talent to show what they can do.

Totally agree, mate, it's been boring as hell watching Mercedes rack up trophy after trophy, so hopefully someone else can mount a challenge next year and make F1 really interesting again! Congratulations to Verstappen and commiserations to Hamilton, as it currently stands.......

A little contrived yesterday.
Stewards on holiday 24 too early.
Hamilton should have given the place back on the first lap and Then they should have let all overtaken cars through before the last lap.
Some slapped wrists at HQ I think.

Toto Wolff demanding over the radio to the race director not to send the safety car out earlier in the race during the virtual safety car was a pretty sh*tty piece of Fergie-esque bullying too, so maybe said director was pouring Mercedes a little glass of 'f*** you' Eggnog with that final call. Wolff's comments to "Mikey" at the end were pretty poor too and smacked of entitlement from Mercedes, they are acting the way Ferrari used to under Jean Todt, so I'm glad Verstappen won for this reason more than any other and hope the decision sticks.

I don't care much for F1 - way too boring these days, and I care less about Hamilton and Verstappen, but there is no way this will stand.
Taking all the emotion out of it, it was a dreadful set of decisions.
Every decision favoured Max and disadvantaged Hamilton.

It'll either have to stand or the result be stricken from the season because they can't run the race again, so in either case Max Verstappen will still be world champion - that's why I think it's going to stand.

Every decision favoured Max and disadvantaged Hamilton. Mercedes and Hampton have most definitely had their fair share of that down the years. Eps.

I suspect you're right, gazz. I'm waiting for 3rd placed Sainz to complain that the lapped cars between him and Max weren't cleared so he didn't get the chance to go for the win, or at least 2nd.

From what I heard Hamilton was royally shafted.

One spoiled millionaire being shafted by another, with no blowback at all for the likes of us - makes a change, doesn't it!
I know two wrongs don't make a right, but part of me is happy that Hamilton didn't win as I just don't like the guy.
I don't like his total misunderstanding regarding 'diversity', I don't like his constant bleating about his 'poor black kid' upbringing and being from 'the slums' (which is absolute bullshit) and I don't like the way he's criticised others for not taking the knee - we lived in a democracy the last time I checked (well, only just!)
For what it's worth, when he first emerged back in 2007 I was a fan, I really did get behind him. I was gutted when he beached his car in the pit entry in China to pretty much ruin his title chances during his rookie season, but was over the moon for him the following season when he became world champion.
However, his whining during the season when Jenson was beating him while they are teammates was unbearable at times, which culminated in him sharing Button's telemetry data on Twitter of all places!
Then there was the "maybe it's because I'm black" comment regarding his constant run-ins with the stewards, which just turned my stomach and completely put me off him. He knew full well what he was doing with that comment, it was a blatant attempt at putting the stewards on the back foot and it stunk.
I won't even get started on his comment about teachers which, for me anyway, bordered on racist.
While I don't really care much who wins, I'm just glad that Hamilton didn't.
Maybe he'll start paying his fair share of tax and fully get to grips with what 'poor' and 'diversity' really means, but I won't be holding my breath.
f*** him.
