Having heard SR post match interview to be fair to him it was the most honest one he has done & very critical of the overall team effort & performance. One little thing he didn’t mention was the total lack of any meaningful reaction by our rather large management team. Even the introduction of Walker/Whitfield didn’t improve the quality or movement. If Hogan & Rooney spent their energies in pulling the team together rather that constantly arguing with each other while Barclay & Hinchliffe we’re collectively loosing their heads. Sam Byrne put it exactly right what kind of stuff are these so called seasoned players made of. Hasn’t Barclay got League 1 experience. Although I totally agree that Hinchliffe is an excellent shot stopper he certainly isn’t the total package. He still hasn’t mastered how to kick a ball & was certainly partly to blame for both yesterdays & the D&R free kick goals. Where has the keeping coach come from he certainly isn’t making him better. Give the other keeper a chance & maybe he’ll realise there’s much to improve. Sam Byrne also commented on MSH which concerns his lack of vision when making a cross into the box as he doesn’t look up to find his man. Just punts the ball in hoping someone can latch on to it. With what’s unfolded over recent games at home & with the very poor result yesterday it will be a mountain to climb for the Wrexham match for all & a big test of their mental strength & character. Because if it all goes south they will need it front of the County faithfull.

What a terrible collection of concessions. FK on the edge conceded, Madden turns sideways on the end of wall (as Walker did against The Daggers) and all the time our fastest player is lying down. Plenty of FKs go into the wall and need a fast player to pressure the return, but I can't remeber any going under a wall at this level? Madden quick to raise an arm at Hinchliffe - maybe just do your elementary job in the wall? . Second one lacks basic communication, organisation, intensity... you name it. Follow any player and see if it 'makes sense' at all. Half-hearted individual actions going through the (wrong) motions. Third looks like a clip from u11 football. Well done to the supporters for turning out in such number - they deserved so much more than seeing goals shipped on that fashion. We definitely need a 'dislike' button on this forum.
Thanks for posting and the analysis tho' Herm.

Embarrassingly bad all round.
The third was pure Sunday league, though. What the f*** is Hogan doing as Captain? He should be marshalling that back line and making sure everyone plays as a unit. MSH won't need telling that his positioning was p**s poor, but where was the organisation? His Captain should have them well drilled. Hogan needs f***ing off, he's an absolute waste of a wage.
There's only one man Liam Hogan plays for, and that's Liam Hogan. He doesn't deserve that armband, especially when you think of the players that have worn it down the years with such pride and distinction.

These are so called seasoned professionals, many from higher leagues who would play for JG to the 90+ final whistle.
Moving on if SR has to stay he really needs to read the riot act and drop players certain players and play players in their preferred and most successful positions. I really don't care if we ship goals so long as we score 1 more. A win is a win.
Player power needs to be out of the door and those need to moved on - regardless of how good they are supposed to be. It sounds like Mr W has created a rod for his and SR's back if the rumours are true.

Hopefully, whatever the result is next Saturday, we play like a team with a good game plan, with commitment, energy and togetherness to play as a unit and not as individuals. Those of us who stood and applauded the Fylde loss 5 (?) seasons back, when Dux was knocked out and they scored with the final kick (FK), must still feel that it's not only the results but how they come about.

Sadly, herm, the word 'hopefully' is most telling one.
It's definitely hope rather expecatation.

That second goal made us look truly amateur. Worrying indeed
