Lucky tw##s, Hogan was the difference between the two sides there, I bet they're f***ing glad we had him.
Come on, Dave, show him the door.

Well that was a kick in the balls, nothing worse than conceding in the last minute!

Horrible way to drop points at the death but a hell of a lot better in terms of workrate, tempo and organisation. Several good performances out there but credit to Crankshaw filling in at WB and Kitching at LCB against a very strong side in good form.

Plenty of effort, scoring a good goal, looking on top and then conceding in the final minute - it was very much like the County we've all grown to love down the years! We have lots of work to do and it's still very unlikely - for me, anyway - that we'll go up this season, but I'm certain that DC will get this club back into the FL if he's given the time he needs to do it.

What a difference a week makes. From a manager who gave the impression that he could turn the Brazilian 1970 World Cup winning side into a pub team to a manager whose side dominated the fourth placed club for large parts of the game in such a short period of time is fairly impressive. Irrespective of the result, it was a vastly improved performance, particularly when we didn't have the ball. Even the Bromley manager had to admit albeit in a somewhat roundabout way, that his team had been outplayed. For me the game on Wednesday is a distraction because on the evidence of yesterday the more coaching time he has, the sooner this team will look like what it is, a team of good players.

Been saying this for weeks he’s a liability. Send him out on loan & bring back someone useful like Newby. DC must have seen videos of him why on earth bring him on so late into the match. Bit naive I think. This negativity seems to be spreading to Ash as well. His Bolton performance wasn’t his best from Mr Reliable. Overall much better play going forward less side to side & back. Crankshaw was industrious but needs to be more clinical when playing the ball into the box. MSH needs to do the same hopefully with some good coaching from DC. County should have put this match out of reach as I thought Bromley were poor kept losing the ball. Where was Sarcevic, didn’t see much from him although he did a nice pirouette shot at goal. Got to massively step up for the Bolton match & no blunders.

I don't know what the answer is but a loan deal might help bring back his confidence and form.

The difference between the team playing under SR and DC is immense. So much more entertaining and much more attack. They say the best form of defence is attack. I would rather us win 5-4 than watch a boring 1-0.
All said we had numerous chances to win this match and we should have buried it.
Onwards to the Bolton match.

I was so gutted at the end of the game and after my initial "Hogan you idiot" shout at the TV I then had a large gin and tonic and thought to myself "9 times out of 10 that wouldn't happen" and no player has ever scored an own goal on purpose so it's not like he meant it. End of the day it was an unfortunate mistake and we all make mistakes from time to time.
The most pleasing feeling though is that I was I was annoyed that we drew with a team that's on a good run and not lost for 11 (or something like that) games. A few weeks ago under the old management team we'd have been over the moon with the draw with Bromley! Things are going in the right direction and good times are on the fast approaching horizon.

Yes, nobody would think a player would ever want to put the ball in his own net. The same applies to Hogan. He will obviously be gutted. But have to disagree Countyfan. Hogan's form has been dismal at best for many months with far too many wayward passes. Why DC did not realise this & play him, I don't know. I suppose you have to give a player the chance. But in his case he's shot himself in the foot bigtime. I agree the team looks to have improved in the short time DC has had but the old traits are there. Bromley's performance certainly didn't match it's current form. County had many chances to kill the game & didn't, which has been one of the main problems for me this season.

Yes I agree he's been out of form over the past few months but I'd say so has the whole team under Rusk. I'm giving everyone a fresh start now we've got DC in charge and we'll see some January what the team looks like once he's got the team up to his fitness levels playing his style of football. If he feels Hogan isn't up to scratch then he won't play but we'll all just have to wait and see which players step it up and who are the ones that came for the easy ride!
