The fixtures computer has at least given us a midweek game at which we can attempt to bounce back quickly from a Saturday disappointment - although, on the downside, a long-ish trip is involved.
County have yet to lose in three visits to Maidenhead. Maintaining that record is now looking rather like a 'must'.
Post it all here...

It'll surely be Ruskshead if we don't turn in a significantly better performance and get three points. He should be gone now for me, but I'm sure Wilson is as desperate to keep his patsy as long as he can. I fear another loss, another slip down the table and another interview full of Jon Keighren making excuses for the tactical genius - just to ruin my last night shift on Tuesday. P.S. I......HATE......WORKING...........f***ing.......NIGHTS!

This game is SEGREGATED with County supporters able to use the Bell Street entrance.
I have no expectations for the result.
If we don't lose it will be an added bonus.
If we score it will be an added bonus.
Good luck County!

The arrival of Fryers gives us someone who can play LB or LCB so should make that side of the pitch more balanced. If played, it should also allow moving between a back 3 and 4 achievable without wasting a sub.
With the quick turnaround and the away record being good in the system, my team prediction (if Raikhy doesn't make it) is:
Hinchliffe Barclay Hogan Fryers MSH Croasdale Collar Whitfield Rooney KDT Madden
At least such a team can go 4-3-3 (Whitfield to the right if the forward) or 4-2-3-1 to manage the game as needed.
Maidenhead won their first 2 but have lost their last 2, shipping 7 in their losses and conceding 4 by HT in their last home game to Torquay. They didn't play on Saturday so they've likely spent some time focussing on tightening up, surely?!
On paper, both this and the Halifax game would stand out as good opportunities for us so hopefully we can put some points on the board and arrive at the Wrexham game in a better place.

Still mulling over making the long trek down to York Road, especially given the poor performance on Saturday - but I probably will - cos I'm that stupid!

Forward have been on shooting practice since Saturday. Attackers still fail to score a goal though. County slump to another 1 - 0 defeat. The end of Rusk.......goodbye.

No goalkeeper on the bench to get the extra outfield option.

Red card to Maidenhead.
If we go on and win the game, what's the prediction for Rusk's post match interview?
We got lucky with the red card Or Tactically we got it right?
We already know what JKs leading question will be...

Richardson is talking a lot of sense on the Strawberry radio broadcast. The other fella is so repetitive. A good start by County and there should be no way we lose this. 3 points will do the world of good.
Good to see Fryer, Kitching and MSH making their mark.

Maidenhead would want HT to regroup without further concession in the 20 minutes after the sending off... and they've got it. But 65 minutes against 10 men will hopefully mean opportunities arise and we can be ruthless. It would also give better opportunity to use the subs to protect one or two if they need it. We've given away a lot of FKs though and they have some lumps in their squad, as has been mentioned.
