Last week of the month already - so don't forget the potentially all-important tie-break!
Also, as indicated in the course of last week, which saw us lose a game to Covid, the 'reserve matches' arrangement is being reinstated - with 'A' being called into play first, then 'B', and so on, should any of our first seven teasers fall by the wayside. Please post your predictions for matches 1-7 AND A-E, and we shall do the rest...
1. Brighton v Everton 2. Newcastle v Southampton 3. Middlesbrough v Blackburn 4. Sunderland v Wycombe 5. Scunthorpe v Tranmere 6. Burnley v Dirty Leeds (Sunday) 7. Rangers v Celtic (Sunday)
Tie-break: How many goals will be scored in the 10 Premier League matches to be played on Saturday, 28th and Sunday, 29th August?
Reserves
A. Charlton v Crewe B. Fulham v Stoke C. Millwall v Blackpool D. QPR v Coventry E. Sutton v Oldham

Just to confirm that I'll be applying the same tie-break pro-rata calculation as last season if it's affected by postponement(s).
Hopefully won't happen but, for instance, if one of next weekend's PL matches is off, your tie-break total will be reduced by 10% to reflect 9 matches rather than 10.

So, August is done and dusted and our first winner of the season is Countyfan, one of three players to score 4 (the others being Dudders and Lennie), which enabled him to hold off the fast finishing Gazz, who registered the only 5 this week. A fine effort by Gazz after a first week blip. Seven players finished with 12 or 11 so the tie-break was significant for the final placings. Nobody hit the bullseye of 26 but Bradders and MHH were just one out. Well played all.
14 Countyfan (4) (-4) 13 Gazz (5) (-4) 12 Maccy (3) (-2) 12 Dudders (4) (+3) 12 Lennie (4) (+5) 11 Irish (2) (-2) 11 Archie (2) (+4) 11 Hermann (3) (+5) 11 Eppy (3) (-26) 10 Mini-Herm (3) (-4) 9 MHH (3) (+1) 8 Bradders (3) (+1) 6 Ceefer (1) (-5)
