Morning all, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Our first quiz of 2021 will span a mammoth seven weeks.
Yes, over the next seven weeks, I will be giving you clues to seven players who have all played in the Premier League, and I promise you will know all seven (since all apart from one of them have made more than 100 Premier League appearances, and if you don’t know the other, then you don’t deserve to be taking part!). Please note: I would like the names that the players are commonly known by.
The usual points rules apply and, as ever, there is a link between them. Of sorts. I could give you an initial clue, but I think I’ll leave you guessing for now! Maybe I’ll phrase it into the quiz later on….
The first person to secure the link gets 10 bonus points, then 9 and so on.
Let’s get started, shall we?….

Time's up, and our first player is Phil Neville!
Unsurprisingly, you all guessed Phil on either Wednesday or yesterday, depending on which Neville brother you opted for first!
So, as a result, there's only one point separating everyone at this stage:
1= Archie 3 Epworth 3 Gazz 3 Macc 3 5= Bradninch 2 BBLW 2 Ceefer 2 Hermann 2
See you all Monday for Week 2!

Cheers Sandy.
Always a cunning twist, even midweek.
I promise to concentrate more next week.
