Hermes are at it with the texts now too, they're easy to spot, though - the sender is a mobile number, rather than just 'Hermes'.
Scumbags.

i've had some DHL ones.
also last week i got a call from a woman at virgin advising that i was under hacker attack and wanting remote access to my desktop. as we spoke it dawned on me that she'd called on my work number, which i definitely hadn't given them. i asked her to confirm any other number they had for me and my address and quelle surprise, the call disconnected...

Absolute scumbags. ars, cheers for adding your own experience to this important thread. This is yet another warning to anyone reading this to be on their guard. I'm not really wanting this thread to grow, as it will mean that there's more of this sh*t going on, but if it does, hopefully it will help prevent those reading it from falling victim to the schemes of these unscrupulous bastards. Cheers for sharing your experience, mate.

That's fantastic news. H. Let's hope that they're punished to the full extent of the law.

Here's another scam doing the rounds: brunchvirals.com/reviews/rolex-100th-anniversary-scam/It's a WhatsApp message that's currently being shared around, claiming that Rolex are celebrating their 100th anniversary by giving away free gifts for everyone! Needless to say..... avoid!

Jesus wept...
Regardless of her own circumstances and how she's involved in this, she's still helping them rinse many innocent people of their money, so lock her up and think of the greater damage caused by her involvement.
Watch it all, everyone, because this could happen to you.

Some guy rang yesterday day to tell me I "may" qualify for a medi-call help button.
I told he would definitely need one if he rang me again. Cheeky bar-steward.

HMRC scam alert.
I've just had one this morning from the following number:
+447438195487
An automated message of an American woman saying that they're taking action against me, and to press '1' to speak to someone.
Now blocked.
