I'll tell thee why, messed up shift patterns! Apologies, mate, I really have only just noticed!
Ah well, better late than never! What can I say about this man that hasn't already been said? He has always kept us amused with his anecdotes, quizzes and one liners, not to mention the quite frankly astonishing amount of work that he put into the CHAOS book, which included footing the print bill with his own cash to ensure it got off the ground. Thankfully, it paid off, and has started making some money for Lennie's magnificent charity of choice. Sandy gives up a lot of his spare time to help keep County Heaven ticking over, and his significant contribution is a major factor in this place being the forum that it is today.
A nicer bloke you couldn't wish to meet, I've had the pleasure a few times myself now at Edgeley Park, and I can safely say that he's a genuine bloke with no hidden agenda, and that's a rarity these days. What you see is what you get, and along with his partner in crime, Maccy, a finer ambassador for the forum, and indeed the fans you will not find anywhere. So I hope you'll all join me in congratulating him on reaching 7,000 posts, and to mark the occasion I've got him something a bit special. This baby is the Rock-Ola 7000 1BX 'LEGEND' - Anniversary Edition:
....apt title eh?! To make it even more special, I've crammed it to bursting point with albums from some of his favourite artists, see if you can spot them, Sandy!Enjoy, mate, and here's to many, many more!
