I tried not to listen, but I feel that I need to witness the whole package to be truly able to judge him.
How many times does that man have to try to justify a poor performance with a reference to performances under Jim? Also, if the 'feedback' from some of the players really was to say that they wouldn't have won the Barnet game earlier in the year, what does that say about the players that said that?
If those players thought that they weren't good enough "earlier in the year", why didn't they f***ing try harder?
As for Madden's goal being the best in the conference had it gone in, Simon - if my Auntie had b*ll*cks ....
It was bad enough listening to the clichés, but now we're having to listen to him not only clutching at straws but also defending his poor performances by referencing those before he came in.
This guy really f***ing irritates me.

And, erm... thought we beat Barnet at their place three months earlier?

I have listened to that interview.
I will judge the guy mainly on results but his answers are so uninspiring.
I wonder how he inspires the players if he can't enthuse the fans.
He plainly doesn't know the difference between 3G and grass.
We have obviously been spoilt with JG's technical know how and tactical nous. A true communicator.
How I miss a decent pre and post match interview.
I guess I am not the only one.
So moving on let's hope we get a win Saturday.
If we lose we need some in depth analysis from the manager as to what went wrong and how he is going to move us forwards.
And now for a glass of wine or two

The away Barnet win also saw us take the lead, concede an equaliser and then score the winner. So, yup, we could certainly do it back then. The main difference was Barnet had a man sent off in the first game which swung things and in this one they scored an OG instead! Cheers x2!
On Madden's 'nearly' goal, clearly the superb Wrexham team goal (Bennett the scorer) hasn't made it onto the viewing list yet!
Overall, I don't mind that SR prefers to talk in general terms on our team (ie more focus on the team than individuals) and I aporeciate that there's an element of media management directing where answers go. When he 'made it up' after the Barnet game on Madden/Minihan, it was at least some character. And speaking on behalf of the Club after the sad passing of young Luke Bennett was much appreciated here.
But as a way to improve these interviews, I do think it would be better to ensure game specific interviews contain... specifics! Otherwise each and every one will blend into a 'no easy games' mush.
As it gives nothing away to say a side is strong on the counter/retention/set pieces or whatever (everyone know games are watched and analysed, right?) then I would welcome just something to make it a bit more worthwhile watching.

I think what Rusk was claiming was that 'feedback' from some players suggested that they wouldn't have fought back to win Tuesday's game "earlier in the year", which I think was referring to when Jim was manager.
I don't think he was talking about the away Barnet fixture.

Yup, my point was that both games had exactly the same pattern of goals (we scored, they equalised, we got the winner) so the apparent new-found fight was, quite literally, displayed in the same way in the first fixture too.

"the mentality and togetherness of the players since you've Come in"
f*** off, Liam, it's always been there - we weren't f***ing mid-table when Jim got shafted. Need I mention the West Ham game?
I'm absolutely f***ing BORED of this brainwash bullshit.
f*** these interviews, I'm done watching them, and f*** you, whoever you are that's choreographing this b*ll*cks, you're a gobshite.

I picked up on that comment as well and it sounds like they are suggesting this is something new (?)
If so what kind of players are we employing who wont get behind a manager....

I’ve given up on these interviews too. Anodyne rubbish. No insight at all and just a corporate PR exercise.
The post match interviews are worse. Bland questions and cliche ridden replies.
