This should provoke some discussion. (apart from the spelling mistake(s))

Looks great but tbh it means nothing much to me. I appreciate that the club has to attract money as it can't compete at the level Mark Stott has said he wants it to compete at without it and in order to bring it to the club the corporate hangers on that provide it have to be enticed with stuff like this but....They haven't taken time off work to traipse to Staines Town twice in a week, or to Torquay or Southend for Friday evening away gameS, they don't have a 280 mile round trip for home games like some of us do and the moment the club loses sight of who and what the club is about, that is, the people of Stockport wherever we may now live, is the moment the club dies and becomes like Citeh, utterly soulless.

I totally agree, Yorks. Success is what we all want for the club, but it must never be at the cost of its soul.

Definitely moving up market with a huge jump in the mascots pricing. Not sure why as these are the fans of the future.
The club should look at a discount on shirts maybe combined with the purchase of X amount of adult tickets. A kid will identify more with the club if they wear the shirt.
The hoardings prices may also reflect the reduction in slots as VITA has taken up the mosnstand capacity.
Good to see vita on the stand roofs. McAfee has had years of free advertising!

The hike in price for player sponsorship - up to a staggering £480 - is even steeper, and will surely, as well as sadly, rule out the forum's ability to continue with its support of Jim/Lordy.
Any comments welcome - but, to my mind, even going to the trouble of posting a call for contributions feels pretty futile.

I don't want to be negative, but they could have at least reached out to us to give us the opportunity to say we can't afford it.
Not very courteous at all.

I agree Maccy, too steep a price increase. They've gone too corporate.
It will be interesting to see what the uptake is.

The failure of the Club to make contact us, as existing sponsors, in pre-season (as Simon Dawson always did in years gone by) is a matter for real regret - just, like Gazz says, on grounds of common courtesy.
And it is not just CH that will now effectively be disenfranchised. Quite a few individual fans stumped up regularly to sponsor players when the charge was a couple of hundred quid less - but will surely find themselves having to abandon that, either as a lone venture or completely. Rather chips away at the 'County family' notion, if you ask me...

For me this is the first significant error from the new owners, they really should have contacted previous sponsors and explained their decisions. This is the kind of incident that could ruffle the feathers of the noisy ones who inhabit other message boards...
