Morning!
How was Carlisle? Damp?
Time for the final leg of our road trip. Here's a reminder of the clue order:
Monday – The (nearest) compass direction we are heading (starting from EP, then from each ground thereafter), e.g N, NE, E, SE etc. Tuesday – Which league the team will play in NEXT season (2020/2021). Wednesday – The capacity of the stadium in increments of 5,000 (i.e. 0-5,000, 5,001–10,000 etc) Thursday – A picture of the stadium Friday – The club’s nickname
Good luck, everyone!

Welcome to York!
How was the final leg of the journey? Brief, by all accounts, seeing as - for the first time in a long time (or, perhaps, ever?) you all arrived on Monday for the full 5 points!
As such, the only change to last Friday's table, is that you're all five points richer:
1 = Archie 31 Bradninch 31 BBLW 31 Macc 31 5. Gazz 29 6. Ceefer 25 7. Epworth 21
So, with a four-way tie at the top, and Gazz hot on their heels, it's going down to the bonus points...

I suspect it will come as no surprise to learn you all correctly unscrambled the postcodes of our seven clubs to reveal the name of the former County player, however I wonder if any of you noticed the subtle hints in the opening to Week 1?
Let's take another look....
"To avoid any confusion/concern during the current pandemic, we will remain in England and will always be travelling by car. Different cars will have to be used by you all to enable social distancing, and as it’s a race, you don’t want to be at the back!"
Yes, that will be former County defender ('at the back') and now physio at Cardiff, Sean Connelly!
As I say, you all got the link in the end, but some faster than others, and with four of you tied in first place, if one of those four was first to the link, they invariably win the quiz.
But, was it one of our leaders who got the link first?...

It was!
Congrats to Archie, who (impressively) guessed the link on Tuesday of Week 1, closely followed by Lennie two days later, Bradninch two (quiz) days after that, and Macc two further days thereafter.
So, without further ado, here are the final standings after the bonus points have been added:
1. Archie 41 2. BBLW 40 3. Bradninch 39 4. Macc 38 5. Gazz 35 6. Ceefer 30 7. Epworth 25
Congrats to Archie, and commiserations to Lennie and Bradninch for coming so close.
Hope you enjoyed the trip, and thanks very much for taking part. Now, get back to EP for tea and cakes before sundown!
Huzzah!
Sandy

Yay! Lucky hit that it was, I'll take the early link, especially as the hints were far too subtle for me. Just as well as my correct ground pick wasn't until the day after. Commiserations to Lennie in particular but well played everyone.
Thanks to Sandy for another fine teaser.

Very well played Archie, can't argue with that. Thought I hit lucky on day 4. Then Arsenal let me down.
Brilliant scoring from all though. Good one Sandy.

Ooh - just out of the medals, but that was an incredibly tight road race!
Well done to Bradders, Lennie and, especially, Archie - as well as thanks to Sandy for another great teaser.

Commiserations to Lennie and well played, everyone else!
Thanks for this great quiz, Sandy. I may have been nowhere near winning, but these really are great fun - amazing work putting them together!

Well played everyone, especially Archie. That was a multi photo-finish if ever there was! Another brilliant quiz, Sandy; thank you for exercising our 'leetle grey cells' over the last seven weeks, mon ami....

Congrats Archie and thanks again Sandy.
I'm happy to get the link but late on in the day.
