All tickets now gone - sold out in under half an hour. I personally think it's way too early to be allowing supporters into games, but I wish those who got tickets well - rather them than me!

I had an email from the club yesterday wanting me to renew my season ticket by 11th September. Really not sure at the moment as I confess that as a mild asthmatic I badly don't want C-19. However, I have a suspicion that the stubborn, f*** it attitude that has served me so badly throughout most of my life will ultimately win over sensible middle age.

Is this game being streamed on YouTube does anyone know? No idea, mate, as far as aware there's been no mention of it as yet.

Not on this occasion, alas, gents: Silly. If that's not going to persuade fans to travel up without tickets, then I'm a Dutchman.

I attended this one as a fan with a ticket, rather than as a reporter with a press pass, and have to say that Colne did a good job of organising the event. The only worry for me personally was my temperature reading at the entrance - which, at 32.4, suggested I was at the wrong end of mild hypothermia! On the severely-sloping pitch atop a hill with splendid views into Yorkshire and fields of sheep for neighbours, it was a tad scrappy - with just two late first-half goals to brighten proceedings. But our players' fitness levels are clearly on the up, and, all in all, we saw another decent workout. Liam Hogan was the pick of the Hatters, and should prove to be an inspired choice as captain once the real business gets under way.
