At least it was free.
I guess the million dollar question is who will be the first County goalscorer and when?

The 2 trialists were Josh Barnes GK (ex Derby County), and Ethan Coleman (ex Reading). Minihan didnt play as he's injured.

Williams looked good, I thought. Hopefully it was just a precautionary removal rather than a full-blown injury.
Elsewhere, J.Jennings has a steady feel about him. Over both games he's looked pretty good, as has Reid who showed some nice involvement.
The young academy lad at RB did fine so well done to him.

All is well with Williams, H. It was part of the pre-game plan to give him and the even-more-recently-arrived Gilmour half of a half each!
Agreed about Reid, too. He looked quick and dangerous, and against lesser opposition would have scored a couple today.

I missed last weeks game, I thought we looked solid enough in the first half against opposition 2 leagues above us and only two weeks away from starting their season. There was a worrying lack of midfield possession though. I guess through September will be the time for us to really judge how well we are progressing. Agree with the comments above about players impressing. I especially liked the look of the academy lad who came on to play right back in the second half and the lad from reading. In Jim we trust.
I thought Stephenson could have attempted to get past his man more in the second half, As a winger you should at least have a run at Your full back and see if you can turn them
