Just turning this into the Match Thread, ahead of taking our bow in the 2019/20 Cheshire Senior Cup next Wednesday...

What sort of side do you reckon we’ll put out. Probably mostly youth and ressies. Worth the trip over? They are sitting mid table but look like they decent squad there.

Hello, mate, welcome to the forum! I honestly can't see Jim risking too many first teamers for this one, not with a play-off place now being a realistic target. I may be wrong, but the Christmas and New Year fixtures seem to have caught up with us yesterday, so I think Jim will want to give most, if not all of the first team as much rest as is possible right now. I may be miles off here, but it would make perfect sense.

Yup, and with an away trip at Dorking on Saturday for a more important fixture it might just be a case of youngsters supplementing 4 or 5 of the first team squad.
Welcome to the forum too, charles.

Yes - welcome to Heaven, Charles.
There are definitely some first-teamers in need of a rest, following the five league matches played within a fortnight. And, in any event, Jim has used the CSC in recent seasons to introduce Academy players into the senior squad - so expect to see a mix of youth and experience on Wednesday!

Welcome Charles, enjoy the forum.
50-50 between first team reserves and the recently signed up development players. I would expect Ormson to play.
I think we have higher priorities than the Cheshire Cup.

Welcome Chaz. I can see a lot of players removing splinters from their backsides before the game.
Benchsitters and those looking for a bit of match fitness.
