So now we know the last 2 members of the next seasons National League It makes for an interesting full line up: Barnet Barrow Borehamwood Bromley Chesterfield Chorley Dagenham & Redbridge Dover Eastleigh Ebbsfleet Fylde Gateshead Halifax Harrogate Hartlepool Maidenhead Notts County Solihull Stockport Sutton U Torquay Woking Wrexham Yeovil
I suppose the only question is will Gateshead make the start in August given their financial difficulties I think we can compete against these teams and predict we will finish in the top 8, but I do think its likely to be Notts Co who lead the way 11 ex league clubs and Gateshead (in a different guise ) have played in the Football League Roll on August

Do you think the league will be kind and give us the away game at Torquay somewhere around the end of June / start of July?? It's lovely down there so we could make a weekend of it in the sunshine!!!

well given that we've been there on new year's day before (2-0 win, both from rickie lambert), it could be the festive double-header...

Yep - at the Goldstone. Fortunately for me, Mother and Father Macc lived only five miles away at the time...

Brighton away on New year's Day I seem to remember was shortly after a season with Torquay away on Boxing Day, and under police advice it kicked off at 1130am - correct me if I am wrong, with something daft like 8 County fans there!
I was at Hereford one year on a Tuesday night where there were 13 of us in the away pen with 8 police officers and a dog. My mate and I were escorted the length of the pitch and out to the car park, and only when we drove off did the officer turn and leave us - was he there to protect us or stop us - I don't know

So as normal an end of season financial crisis may upset the provisional positions that have been set in tiers 1 to 6 How many other financial crisis' teams will we see before August? I do feel for the fans at Gateshead

I do feel for the fans at Gateshead me too, but i'm still also slightly rancorous about them playing at seven or eight different grounds as their home ground, miles away from gateshead (our clash at hartlepool was one of the closer ones) when we were last in the conference, and then them taking the point that all but doomed us on the tuesday night before kidderminster away on the saturday.
