Although on a serious note I thought he looked like a good football player who was comfortable on the ball and could see a pass better than many of his team mates! In Jim we trust. Jim must have better lined up....at least I hope so.

Good luck to the lad, but that "enjoying football" nonsense lacked a bit of class.
It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway - Jim knows what he's doing.

Yes, he really could have done without saying that. "Looking forward to new challenges", or something along those lines, would have been more dignified.
That said, I guess it has felt like a difficult gig for him at County. He lost his Mum just after joining us, and then has alternated between suffering injuries and short-lived spells of starting games in which he showed glimpses of quality but failed to do so in a more sustained way. He is clearly a gifted footballer, but sometimes such players fail to 'fit'. Hopefully, he will fare better elsewhere - and, by the same token, we shall replace him with someone who better suits Jim's plans.

Salford City have released eleven players including Devante Rodney. There will be a few clubs after him....
