well let's hope we can continue that trend lennie. it's quite useful to have some pathfinders to help the squad feel positive about next season, albeit they were mostly financially doped.

I know Alun is at Blyth, but the board don't seem to want them to go up and Al sounds like he's ready to walk away from that job anyway, so I really hope Alty come through this.

Alty go through, what a game that must have been!
Well played, The Robins!
Commiserations to Alun and his team.

Just realised 4 of their 6 play off places are teams from recent National North campaigns. Shows how difficult it is to get out of that league, underlining the importance of County's win this year. Also bodes well for a good showing in the National League next season... hopefully!

Congrats to Alty, and good luck against Chorley. About as opposite as you can get in terms of football styles those two!
Commiserations to Blyth and AA, and obviously former Hatters plying their trade at BPA.
Brackley and Spennymoor should be a tough old battle if the latter have enough energy to compete.

Delighted that Alty beat Blyth. I hope they can get one over on Chorley as well!
I hate to see the likes of Eastleigh beat Wrexham - another nothing tinpot non-league club beating a proper FL team with history and a fanbase. However... from a selfish perspective I can’t wait to go to Wrexham away again next year!!

And they will probably bring a few more fans to EP than Eastleigh bring to their own home games

Alongside Orient going up from National League will be a completely new face to the Football League, one of: Eastleigh, Salford, Solihull or Fylde - none have ever gone that far before - but who will it be?

And left to be promoted from the regional national leagues alongside us and Torquay NLN: Chorley, Alti, Brackley and Spennymoor NLS: Welling, Woking, Chelmsford and Wealdstone Which two will join us now?
And will Macc or Notts Co come down to join us?
My thoughts are: Brackley Wealdstone Notts County

I really hope it's Solihull or Eastleigh, not only to stop arguably the two biggest hobby clubs going up, but also because I want the chance to stick it to Salford and Fylde next season - especially that mallet head, Rowe.

There are going to be some very southern teams in the National North next season. Oxford City and Gloucester City look like they may be moved ooop north to even put the divisions.
