I make no apology for this: No other manager today would understand this club like he does. Having worked and/or lived in Stockport for nigh on 30 years, he is one of us and considers himself as much. He feels every defeat, celebrates every victory and wants the best for the club and its fans. I am thankful for every single day that he is with us and can't thank him enough for everything that he's done for this great club of ours.. Whatever decision he makes, whether it works or not, he makes because he believes it's in the best interests of this club, not for his own ego or for any career gain. Jim is right up there alongside Danny now for me, with a promotion back to the Football League being the achievement that will elevate him above all others - all in my opinion, of course! I know I'm glorifying Jim here, but I don't care - I have heard and read too many ridiculous criticisms of him to not make the most of this opportunity to praise him and all the great things he's done for this Club! However, I now want to give my thanks to Jim, his staff, his players, our supporters and all those amazing volunteers both at the club or with groups such as HtH and the Co-op - what a fantastic season you've all contributed to!

3 defeats in the National league and the "Gannon Out" idiots will start again, no doubt.

There were 1500 fans on the pitch ignoring tannoy announcements that there would be no presentation unless the pitch was cleared. A certain JG went over after his radio interview and within 20 seconds they were streaming back to the stands.

I've just read over my post and spotted something I need to change! What I meant to say was that I've heard and read too many ridiculous criticisms of him to not make the most of this opportunity... Back of the class, sunshine!

His hair is a tad greyer... He should look a hell of a lot worse after some the sh*t he's been subjected to during his time with us, Ceef, so all things considered, I think he's got off lightly!

We are really blessed to have him at this club.

It's been proved more than once, that given time, Jim gets it right - he's earned that much
Once again, however, it looks like he's being used as a human shield by the board - how many more times are fans going to buy this crap?
Jim is NOT the problem.

I f***ing love that man like a brother, and I've never even met him.
I'd buy a season ticket tomorrow if he came back, even though I'd not be able to make most of the games - FACT!
It's dead easy, Mark. "Sorry, Jim, we made a mistake, would you consider coming back and we'll give you what you need to get the job done?"
