Down south to St James' - Brack-lee Staying "Top" ? We'll just wait and see. Eyes front on the pitch No FA Trophy thoughts-twitch ! I asked my American friend if we’d win and he said, ‘like totally.’

Right, then - decision time. And I have to say the quality of entries is such that any number of them could have won in other weeks. But, of course, there can only be one winner - and three on the podium. So, without further ado... In third place, Lennie - who, rather uniquely, is awarded a medal in praise of another club with his celebratory: I'll be at Bloomfield, sans Oyston, whoopee! He also gets the nod on grounds of flattery, mind, courtesy of the follow-up line: (But transfixed to my phone and Maccy.) ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Taking the Silver Medal is Gazz, and his truism: 'cos the league's more important for me! Amen to that - and the Gazz-man would have walked away with the main prize, had it not been for... Hermann, who popped up in added time to opine: T'was a wonderful run - 23. Wasn't it just? And, now that the dust has settled, a good way to look back on a disappointing afternoon. With that, I pass on the robes to H - and hand you back to Sir Len in the studio...

So near, yet so far, but at least I was beaten by a brilliant line.
A fantastic line from H that was rightly chosen by Maccy as the winner.
Cheers for another great game, Lennie!
