The term 'Legend' is bandied about far too often these days, but I can safely say that this guy has gone above and beyond the call of duty in not only supporting his beloved County, but also bringing the updates to those who can't be there. So, with the 2014 Six Nations currently in progress, and our Maccy being a proud Welshman, I felt it fitting to knock something up in keeping with that theme. His beloved Wales have so far chalked up 11 Grand Slams in the Rugger, and there are T-shirts on sale in Wales to commemorate this, but sadly nothing to pay tribute to one of their greatest sons. So, I thought I'd redress the balance somewhat! Having met and chatted with Maccy at Edgeley Park on a number of occasions now, I can safely say that he's a genuinely top bloke, so this tribute is far from laying it on thick! Well done, matey, here's to many, many more!

Strangely, despite having written for the programme with him for two seasons, I've never met him. What's he like? Does he really look like Julian Speroni?

Congratulation Macc.
It was Radio Macc that got me into CH (the same is true of harrogatehatter) and I'd been following your live updates for a while before finally joining in.
You must be CH's biggest recruiter! I wonder how many other Heaveners found this wonderful forum through your matchday updates?
We should nominate you for some sort of award - for 'Services to County Exiles'? If lolly pop ladies get them, you should be a dead cert!

If lolly pop ladies get them, you should be a dead cert! are you suggesting he should become a member of the most excellent order of the british empire for radio macc? well i'll tell you what, once he starts texting us news about wins on a more regular basis, i'll put a f***ing word in for him myself! you deserve all the plaudits though macca - keeping exiles in the loop by providing a top service...and the odd decent post on the main boards as well!
