Afternoon all Dudders is your host this week: Jenson CV8Born and bred in the Black Country. This was one of the fastest cars of its time using a 6 litre Chrysler engine with 366BHP. Reaching speeds of 136mph in the mid 60s a truly fantastic machine. Looks decent too! Jewel Model B
At the other end of the spectrum an early 20th century knockabout with a massive 8BHP! Here’s a copy and paste section for the nerds... Close inspection of this car reveals that the 'Jewel' is just that, for the mechanical or engineer-minded. The car appears beautifully and thoughtfully designed. Its bodywork sits atop a transverse mounted, fully elliptic leaf spring at the front and on either side at the rear, which will no doubt give a comfortable ride. The supporting bracketry throughout the car, from the body mountings to the wing stays, has shapely curves and the car is generally a joy to the eye. While on the mechanical side, the purposeful 8hp water cooled motor is known not only for its reliability but also for its torque, some claiming that these cars will lift their front wheels on 'take off'! And to finish it off a 3 wheeler!... JMB 3 wheeler
2 seats 3 wheels and apparently very dodgy cornering but it looks very nice. Get voting!

I'll start us off and add a personal vote (bearing in mind the E-Type has already gone!), for the Jaguar F-Type:

The F-Type is a fantastic looking car, so that's getting my vote too - great shout, Sandman!
Designed by Ian Callum, who was also behind the Aston Martin Vanquish and DB9, which may explain why the F-Type has an 'Aston' look about it.

i like the jenson, so i'm going with the original choices rather than the tasty f-type.

I feel I should throw the Jensen Interceptor into the mix... Gotta love that Italian styling, but is it enough to make me change my vote?!

The CV8 looks to have a fair bit of personality so we'll go for that one although the Jag is lovely too.

Good selection, ars.
I’m tempted by the Jag, but it’s the CV8 for me

Morning all
It looks like a two horse race between the F-Type (2 votes - unless Gazz is tempted to change his mind as hinted?!) and the Jenson with 3 votes.
Unless we have any further voting by, say, midday today, I think I'll call time and award the win to the Jenson!

My potential vote swap was for the Interceptor, matey, but I'm staying with the F-Type as it would be a wasted vote. P.S. Stop calling it the 'Jenson', Mr Law-Talking.... guy - it's a 'Jensen'! Kind regards, Mr Pedantic-Talking..... guy.
