I know it's been posted elsewhere, but he really does deserve his own thread.
Absolutely gutting to hear that he has passed away at the age of 61. He really was one of the good guys and was never anything less than the perfect gentleman.
A very, very sad loss.
RIP

Gentleman is the word, Gazz-man.
None of us who were at EP for the QPR Cup-tie will forget how, in spite of having suffered defeat against lower-league opposition, he stayed out by the pitch afterwards to give his autograph to every single young Hatter who was excitedly queuing up for one.
He always came across as an utterly genuine man, as well as player and, later, coach and pundit.
His untimely passing is incredibly sad news. RIP, Ray.

So sad, a true gent, and still very much in the public eye with his regular appearances as a pundit on the television.
A shock to lose him so suddenly and so young at 61. Condolences to his friends and family.

i thought this was class as well, but then franco always was: The greatest defender to ever play the game for me, with a fitting tribute. That is also a touch of class from the fans.
