As most of our members will already know, the day-to-day running of County Heaven is maintained by a team of dedicated Admins, together with our Technical Support, Gazz.
Almost every online forum requires some level of administration, but here at County Heaven we are fortunate to have a small, very well-behaved band of thoroughly pleasant individuals, who require virtually no monitoring whatsoever. On those rare occasions an issue does arise, it has always been resolved swiftly and amicably. In short, our job is bloody easy.
That said, the existing Admin team was appointed several years ago now, and it had not escaped our attention that two of the original administrators have not contributed to, or even logged in to, County Heaven for many months.
As such, the remainder of us took the decision that it would be appropriate to remove those individuals from the Admin team with immediate effect. They remain members, of course, but we did not feel it right that they be retained as guardians of Heaven, when they have been absent for so long.
Whilst those two Heaveners did not need to be replaced as such, we also felt that it would be right to not only give the Admin team a boost, but also recognise the contributions of two other long-standing and valuable members.
Having voted unanimously, and having had our invitations accepted, the County Heaven Admin team are delighted to welcome both Ceefer and Epworth Hatter to our ranks.
We are sure you will join us in congratulating them both on their 'promotion', whilst continuing to be a part of what must surely be one of the most amicable and friendly football forums in the country.
