Monday night football for County! Who'd have thought?!
The weather may yet scupper prospects of play, given the soggy tendencies of The Avenue's pitch. The forecast doesn't sound terrible for the next 24 hours or so, mind - and the fact that a rare game at nearby Guiseley managed to go ahead yesterday may be grounds for optimism!
Look forward, if all is well, to catching up with exile/a_r_s, moscow road mod (with whom I travelled to no avail on New Year's Day) and any other Heaveners making the trip.
Post your hopes, fears and Yorkshire weather updates here...

Tough test so soon after a game, this will be a tough one. It all depends on our ability to recover from yesterday's match.

Agreed, gazza - it feels as if Easter weekend has arrived a couple of months early, and County will need to capitalise on some adrenaline and their confidence from the Stalyvegas win to help see them through this one.
The Avenue's game (at Alty) was rained off yesterday, so our hosts are likely to be fresher than us... although at least momentum won't be on their side!

Probably just a necessary precaution given the recent history.
Fingers crossed.

I'm sitting in an office in Leeds and the sun is shining. It's bright and cold this morning. It almost looks quite nice out there. Oh, hang on. I'm in Seacroft...
I'll let you know if the rain starts a-fallin'.

Remembering New Year's Day, I shall be making sure that my mobile stays switched on, even if the pitch is passed fit for play at 2pm...!

Yeh well seacroft is rather nice this time of year! Nice day here too, so providing the damage isn't already done we should be on! If so I'm going for a county 2-1 win with goal machine Dennis getting all 3!!

Excellent news, the last thing we need is another fixture further down the road, regardless of how soon after Saturday this is, we needed this one to go ahead.
Cheers, Maccy.

Clean sheet County as we are now known means we will win 0 - 3 tonight.
