Time we had one of these so we can share the bargains or good deals... I'm kicking it off with my love of Dutch and Belgian beers, so it was great to get a box of 6 Belgian Piraat Ales. 6 x 330ml.
Gulden Draak 10.5%, Gulden Draak 9000 Quadruple 10.5%, Bornem Double 7.2%, Bornem Triple 10.5%, Piraat Triple Houblon 10.5%
Definately recommended..... forgot to mention from Lidl

I've made this thread a sticky, even though it's bound to be a popular one.

FLIGHTSFor those who don't already know, a good website to use for finding flights is www.skyscanner.netAs well as the ability to search by specific dates and airports/cities, you can leave it open-ended and search flights to 'everywhere' as well as by whole months to find the best prices. HOLIDAYSwww.holidaypirates.com is a website where specific flight/hotel deals are posted up. TRAINSAdvance tickets usually go on sale 12 weeks before travel date so that's a good time to search up those longer journeys to save money. As well as getting hold of a railcard (if one is valid to your circumstances), you can sometimes save money by splitting the ticket. As an example, instead of buying Stockport to York, you can buy Stockport to Piccadilly and Piccadilly to York to save money. Check here to see if you can split a ticket on a future journey: www.moneysavingexpert.com/split-cheap-train-ticketsSUPERMARKETwww.mysupermarket.co.uk allows you to compare the prices of items across stores (or shop via it if you want to). I find it useful for checking on regular bulk purchases, for example, to find where the best price is. It also shows what's on offer at the main stores. GAS & ELECTRICYou can sign-up for free to MoneySavingExpert's Cheap Energy Club. It will tell you your options for the cheapest gas/electric provider and keep you informed of when savings can be made across the year. www.moneysavingexpert.com/cheapenergyclub We switched through it and got £30 for switching. However, sometimes you can get more for switching by going through a site such as ... TOPCASHBACK.co.ukMy favourite cashback site. Basically, it's paid back about a heck of a lot since joining several years ago! You can get cashback on utilities, insurance, shopping and more. All you have to ensure is that you have a clean cache before using their links to get to the retailer's site to ensure the cashback tracks. Anyone who doesn't have an account and wants one, I can send a referral link and I'll happily share the referral money 50/50 with you... or we can just both donate it to CH/County... whatever! AMAZON PRICE ALERTSIf you use Amazon, you can check historical prices of products and set alerts for product price drops using uk.camelcamelcamel.comHope some of that may help the users here!

Anyone out there like chilli's...well this East End green chilli sauce is very hot and is made from green habanero's . It's well worth a try and certainly gets the endorphins going. I know Tesco's stock it and there must be other shops as well.

"A European Parliament initiative to give young people free rail tickets to allow them to discover the EU is about to become a reality. Thanks to efforts by MEPs, between 20,000 and 30,000 18-year-olds will have the chance to travel in Europe by rail this year. In the future more young people will benefit from the Discover EU initiative, which was first proposed during Parliament's European Youth Event (EYE). How it will workAbout 15,000 people will enjoy the chance to travel Europe by rail between July and September. Any European citizen who will be 18 on 1 July can apply for tickets in the first round from 12 to 26 June. A second call for applications will be launched later this year.Participants will be able to travel up to 30 days to as many as four EU countries. Travel will be mainly by rail, but other means will be available in limited cases. This could be for example for people with disabilities, or for those coming from remote areas." .....
