As you might imagine, the good lady Sandy and myself are now devoting our time to coming up with boys names that we like, having exhausted our only 'agreed' name last time with Sandy Jnr I.
I decided to try and draw inspiration from an online 'quiz' which, it transpires, was heavily geared towards not only the mother, but also Americans. The overall suggestion of 'Donovan' was immediately binned, but I did learn that my wardrobe is predominantly tight-fitting jeans and leather boots, and my ideal night out is 'cocktails with the girlies'.
Mrs Sandy, meanwhile, tried a quiz of her own and, believe it or not, it came up with the following list of suggestions:
Connor, Parker, Liam, Harrison, Oliver, Holden and Quinn.
Interestingly, I pointed out to the wife (she didn't agree), all but Liam on that list are surnames of former County players. I'm now pushing for Gleeson and Pilkington as potential names (Glees and Pilks for short naturally).
Mrs Sandy, tired of my trying to shoe-horn County references into our unborn child's name (I tried in vain to have Edgeley as Sandy Jnr's middle name the last time around), ended up in an online 'Mum's forum' (which, aside from the chat room about breast-feeding, I found distinctly boring) and you'll never believe one of the names that a mother on there has called her newly born offspring.
No, really, you won't.
I'll give you all a clue - it's a designer fashion label.
Any takers?

Armani? Versace?
Some of the bizarre names that get given to kids really do worry me. When you pick names, you also have to consider what people will naturally shorten them to over time, so for me that is equally as important as the name itself.
Happily, I think we (myself and their Mum) got it right with our two.

Armani and Versace are both good guesses, but would be considered positively normal compared to the answer!
Any other guesses?

I'm all out of ideas.
I don't really do the designer stuff anymore, it's all made in the same place as the cheaper stuff anyway!

More designer than any of Roger's, and (additional hint) also a perfume I believe.
If no one has it by 3pm I'll put you out of your misery!
