Great report HS.
I think Stopforth should have had a penalty for that foul first half and once again the ref ignored fouls on Big K.
That run from Duxberry late on beating (was it 3 players?) and narrowly shooting wide shows what he can do. It would have been so so good if that had hit the back of the net.
Pleased for the goalscorers Minihan and Marsden and the win (4K in the bank), on a bitterly cold afternoon.

Someone mentioned he did celebrate towards the Main Stand when they got the ball in the net... but it was ruled offside. Doh!
There was a nice shout from a fan in the Pop to the lino/ref as he got a couple of free kicks when a little contact was made and the ball bounced off him: 'He's not being fouled! He's just ****!' Even I had to wipe the ice off my face to smile at that one.
As we've got through November's games, those on 4 bookings are now not subject the an automatic ban if they take a yellow again. Given the ill discipline seen previously, it's good to see a whole squad has got through so many games and it's only been injuries that have removed players from selection.
Also, someone on MB has posted about the stats (W8.D1.L2) from K's starts this season. Pretty impressive to be fair to the big man. Had another good shift today but appeared to get injured from putting his body on the line to stop a goal attempt in a bit of a scramble.

I read that on MB too, H - it's really starting to make sense why Jim is sticking with Big K.
Yet more proof - if we ever needed it - that Jim knows what he's doing.
