That looks like a decent draw and at Fortress Edgeley Park. Thanks for posting HS

A good tie for beginning our defence of the trophy... hopefully!
Cheers for sharing, Hermann.

I'm sure Jim and the lads will be going all out to retain this trophy. Aside from being a chance to blood players both young and new and boost their confidence, it's also a classy looking piece of silverware.
Cheers for posting, H.

I just hope we dont overstretch ourselves and suffer any injuries... It's certainly a concern shared! Given Amis, Marsden, Felix and CMW are usually bench options and do need to be able to have an impact when called upon, perhaps it's the kind of game where both a win and increased match sharpness for those can be achieved. Obviously it'll be a big game for Winsford and, to be fair, they have some attacking threat and the ability to mix things up (inverted wide players). So, it should be 'interesting' enough on different levels for those who get a game in it. As JG has mentioned a couple of times when crediting the physio/conditioning side of things, it's been 'good' that the injuries this year have been through contact (ACL, eye socket, leg break) rather than people missing through strains and so on. Let's hope that continues (minus the contact injuries!). Also, Ellison will hopefully come back (loan up next week, I think?) and be challenging for a place in the 16 though, as we know, the squad gets depleted elsewhere this month, sadly!

The spirit of our previous non-league sh*thouses?
Keigan Parker, Mark Halstead, James Tunnicliffe etc.
I don't know if a house can be relegated but if you are summoning these spirits I have to warn you that your house may be relegated.
