I'm "stumped" with a rhyme for this week, But at Boston, a win we could squeak. With a winner from Platt We can all shout "howzat"!!! Lose and it's "sans paddle up't creek".

All join in................
"Time for a decision,Gazza".
Will be very difficult this week. What a brilliant set of entries. I am sure this is due to the upbeat feeling about happenings on the pitch.

Sorry this has to be a quick one, guys, I don't have the time to milk this one as much (sadly), so here we go with the top three: We have fudgie in third place with the excellent: "Hopefully we've not reached our peak"
Lennie deserved at the very least a second place with the quite brilliant (and topical): "Out of date beer, Ryan ? Oh, what a cheek !"
and he was only denied victory for me this week simply because Ian Ormson has been outstanding of late, and deserves all the plaudits he gets. So with that in mind, Rog takes a deserved first place with the simple yet perfectly apt considering his heroics last night : "And Ian Ormson est magnifique!"
So there we have it, Rog gets his hands on the prestigous Golden Quill Award... ![](http://i1006.photobucket.com/albums/af190/countyheaven/Miscellaneous/goldenquillrog_zps5a02e139.gif) ...is this your first one, Rog? Anyway, I'm sure Downy, Benno et al will give you a few tips on the best way to polish it! Many thanks to everyone for taking part, and a huge thanks to Lennie, it's always good fun this game! I now hand you over to Rog, good luck in the next game, everyone!

Superb stuff, as a fully paid up member of the goalkeeping union I am happy to play second fiddle to Sir Rog's celebration of Ormson's performances of late.
Thank you all for taking part and regards to Gazza for a difficult choice this week.
New one coming very soon.

Well done Rog, But not wanting to sound like a sore loser but I think entries after the event shouldn't be included as anyone can say something relevant to the game after the full time whistle blows!
Like I said, not being a sore loser, just a thought that's all.

Point taken, County Fan. But if folks are willing to have a go after the event all power to their elbow. Remember the rules:- The judge is always right (even when he's wrong). As long as it scans (almost) rhymes (usually) is amusing (most often) and relevant they all count. Cheers
