Let`s Hear it For Our Anonymous County Supporter. We would just like to confirm that following our successful ` Matching Donations` effort in October our marvellous anonymous supporter has made the final matching donation making the total raised and donated by the effort to £2000! An unstoppable mix of one supporter`s selfless desire to help get that statue built allied to the fantastic support from ordinary County fans saw us to our target figure and surely will see a fitting tribute to Danny Bergara in the form of a superb bronze statue a reality too outside Edgeley Park! We still have a need to continue raising donations to make our target of £50k and meet the costs involved in erecting the statue so please support our fund-raising efforts during the remainder of the season. You can check out the matching donations here:- www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/dannybergara

Supporters Cooperative Wellspring Collection Raises Over £1000! The relationship between the Supporters Cooperative and Stockport`s magnificent homeless charity the Wellspring goes back years and is a source of real pride to us. Thus, in times as hard for ordinary folk as they are at present it was simply excellent to see the response to our appeal on Saturday from supporters who tipped a magnificent £936.60 into our collecting buckets- a figure boosted on the day, by a further £100 donated by an extraordinary ordinary anonymous County supporter, to an incredible total of £1036.60( excludes QR code donations ) The Club had given us permission to place a van on the car park to enable supporters to drop off contributions to the Wellspring`s excellent `Rucksack Project` . `Spud I Vac` kindly provided the van and your donated items are now with the charity along with the cash. The Wellspring have asked us to thank you all for your generosity, and we would like to congratulate our collection team of 5 Supporters Cooperative Board members, 2 volunteers from the Wellspring, another 2 Help the Hatters stalwarts Angela and Melanie plus Spud of `Spud I Vac` and Keith Mills of Forever Friends of Uganda, for their efforts . We would like to thank the Club for giving us the opportunity to again support the Wellspring, and a final word of thanks to the many Leyton Orient supporters who gave generously to the effort-brilliant stuff! Well done and thank you to all who supported this effort! Stockport County Supporters Cooperative

New Board Meets!
The first meeting of the new Supporters Cooperative board took place yesterday evening. Chairman Pete Towey welcomed new board members Dave Marchbank, Callum Walmesley and Terry Arnold to the board along with Paul Thompson who had previously served as a co-opted board member.
The first part of the meeting dealt with deciding board positions and in this respect the following was agreed upon.
Chair: Pete Towey Vice Chair : John Giles Treasurer : Dave Marchbank Membership Officer : Callum Walmsley Vice Membership Officer: Paul Thompson Media Officer: Ian Brown Vice Media Officer: Callum Walmsley IT Support: Paul Thompson Fundraising Officer: Katye Ebbage
The Wellspring.
Great satisfaction was expressed on the result of the Wellspring Collection undertaken prior to County`s last home game with Leyton Orient which raised a total of £1074 .60 and a good quantity of clothing and other items in support of the Wellspring` Rucksack Project` . It was agreed that we again adopt the Wellspring as our designated charity for the year ahead.
Membership.
Initial discussions focused on ways to boost membership. Board members agreed to check out family and friends and enrol where they are not currently members. Amongst other things it was agreed to target lapsed members many of whom probably did not know their membership had lapsed. On members meetings it was agreed that these be organised on a regular basis, and it was also agreed that to introduce an element of the `social event` into proceedings and a touch more informality might serve us better and attract more to members meetings. The discussions to continue, the first members meeting probably in the early new year.
Danny Bergara Statue.
Sculptor Hannah Stewart was well on with the statue which was now in clay prior to casting into bronze. We were discussing with Hannah on ongoing basis and consulting with the Bergara Family to ensure a finished article we can all be proud of. A zoom meeting with the sculptor was set for this Thursday 1 December.
