Taxi Driver for me. De Niro at his method-acting finest... and scariest!
Whatever, it is a truly iconic performance.

Too many to pick from this week...
12 Monkeys Toy Story Trees Lounge Top Gun The Taking of Pelham 123 (1974) Terminator 1&2 This is Spinal Tap Touching the Void 24 Hour Pary People Tremors Top Secret
My vote goes to The Truman Show - best film to not win best film at the oscars (or even be nominated - ridiculous that Shakespear in Love won in 1998)

So many great films in those lists - but I'm going for
Time Bandits
Hysterically funny look at history

Here's a few for the mix..... The Thirty Nine Steps, Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines (first trip to the cinema), Thunderbirds are Go, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
but it has to be 'Toy Story'... I forget how many times I watched this with the kids....To Infinity and beyond....pure magic even for adults

A few of mine might of been mentioned before but....
Taken The taking of Pelham 123 Tango and Cash (still use "Fubar" to this day!) Thelma and Louise There's something about Mary The three amigos True Lies Turner and Hooch Ted Tropic Thunder
But my winner this week is staring Eddie Murphy who in recent years has become a bit of a tool (in my opinion!) but back in the day when this was made was a very funny man making some great films with this being one of them with thanks to Dan Aykroyd and Jamie Lee Curtis too, My winner is Trading Places

Trading Places is a fantastic shout, cf. It is and it would have made my list but for some reason it isn't on the list of films beginning with T on Wikipedia.

texas chainsaw massacre (the original obviously) tarnation things to do in denver when you're dead this is spinal tap troll hunter
but 24 hour party people because the story of factory records is the greatest ever told - one i never get tired of, whether in book form or here in technicolour, with chris eccleston as boethius, and coogan as tony wilson (and god) being throttled by paddy considine's rob gretton over the twenty grand table in the new factory offices...just funny, but also funny 'cos it's (mostly) true...

In arguably our most open week yet, The Truman Show is currently leading with two votes, but there is then a long list of runners-up with one vote each, any of which could draw level with a day to go:
Taxi Driver Time Bandits Tin Men Top Secret! Toy Story Trading Places Tropic Thunder 24 Hour Party People.
