Anyone watch it tonight?
Probably one of the worst penalty shootouts I've ever seen! Finished 2-1 on penalties to Sunderland after 5 spot kicks each.
Made for good viewing though, especially when watching it with a Un*ted supporting mate!

It was good to see the Old Trafford 'faithful' not see a win by virtue of the customary injury time goal, or a penalty, but that shoot-out was seriously poor, I totally agree.
The tide has turned, and I really do think that Moyes will be looking for another job if they don't get a CL place next season.

I agree Gazza but if they qualify for the UEFA Cup he should have another chance, he took over SAFs aging squad, statistically he's done better than both SAF and Busby in their first seasons, hopefully they give him a chance, however football being as it is I'm sure he'll be on his a*se in no time!
Agreed GTS, probably the worst shootout I've ever seen!

Shame (not) - can't see Sunderland turning over Man Citeh though - still the bigger question will be can Stretford United even make next years Champions League - I don't think they will get in via the league so that means they have to win the damn competition - and there's only slightly more chance of that happening than we have of winning Conference North this season!!

All the Charity Shops in London have put up notices in their window .... "No More Man Utd Shirts Thank You".

I don't like Mini Me Moyes but all the United people comparing this season with last need to remember that Van Persie won the title for them single-handed and, from VP's previous fitness record, Fergie was very lucky to get a virtually injury free season out of him.

That's a very good point that, archie.

Apparently Juan Mata's signing for Man Utd has been put on hold,
because all the pens are missing !!

Apparently Morinho didn't want to sell Mata to a title rival...then Man U bid for him.

sorry to all the jokers, but nothing is as funny as seeing them get their fergie-time equaliser, and then sunderland missing their first couple of pens...and still winning. almost beautiful.
