Special mention for the brilliant 'Kingpin' with Woody Harrelson & Bill Murray.
However, my vote goes to 'Kiss The Girls' with Morgan Freeman.

I really wanted to vote for (The) Kentucky Fried Movie but, in the end, I have to go for Klute.

For me, it has to be Kes.
Bleak and inspirational in equal measure - and featuring the best (and possibly only) proper acting that Ivy Tilsley ever did!

Karate Kid, I still pull the "wax on wax off" moves and I actually stand on one leg like a stork to balance and then hop to the other one. Excellent for core muscle group!

shout outs to 'kick-ass' despite featuring nicolas cage, and to 'the kid stays in the picture'. 'koyaanisqatsi' is stunning as...just images...pretty and fractured.
blowing them all out of the water though, is 'the king of comedy'. i'm often left, if not cold, then tepid about scorcese and de niro's collaborations. but wow. sour and uneasy, de niro's rupert pupkin trying another tack when rebuffed by jerry lewis' character. a tale of celebrity fandom gone wrong to the then recent backdrop of mark chapman and john hinckley (some irony that hinckley shot reagan apparently to impress jodie foster after being obsessed with de niro and scorcese's 'taxi driver'). i've only ever seen it once, but it stuck with me. queasily great.

Some special K's...
Kentucky Fried Movie K-9 Kids King of New York
But I'm with ars, and going for The King of Comedy. Nothing to add to ars' brilliant summary. Extraordinary performances by the whole cast.

i thought about 'kids' and 'the king of new york' too eps so we're quite similar on the 'k' front.
why 'kill bill 2' downy? i really enjoyed the first one at the cinema, and quite enjoyed the second one, but definitely less.

Extraordinary performances by the whole cast. definitely. until i saw that, probably ten or fifteen years after it came out, i had sandra bernhardt pegged as merely an aggressive and annoying madonna hanger-on.

why 'kill bill 2' downy? i really enjoyed the first one at the cinema, and quite enjoyed the second one, but definitely less. I think it's the ultimate revenge movie and although it's a close call between them both the Bride has no beef with the crazy 88, they're just in the way of her getting to O-Ren. The revenge comes in Volume 2 which also shows the background of the character with the flashback to her getting trained by Pai Mei. My favourite scene is from Volume 1 though when she goes to Japan to collect the sword from Hattori Hanzo with Gheorghe Zamfir and James Last's The Lonely Shepherd playing in the background.

Some mention for...
Kickboxer (late 80's I watched a lot of Jean Claude Van Damme films and loved them all!) Kungfu Panda Kingpin A Knight's Tale Knocked Up
But my winner has to be the film that I watched for the first time in Stepping Hill the day after I had my appendix out about 4 years ago and laughed so much I burst a couple of stitches and opened up the wound!!! Talk about pleasure/pain!!! That film is Kick Ass!

At the (kind of) half way stage, we currently have another three way tie, between:
Karate Kid, The Kes King of Comedy, The
all of which have two votes.
The following films have one vote each:
Kick Ass Kill Bill: Volume 2 Kiss The Girls Klute
