Help the Hatters Wish List- Can You Help ?
Car Boot Venue. You will know that Help the Hatters lost the use of the Booth Street Car Park which for years has been the venue of our primary fund raising events , our Car Boot Sales. Our subsequent efforts to find a workable alternative have proved fruitless, but before we completely give up on this , we thought we would ask if anyone out there had any suggestions as to possible sites ( must have toilet facilities available and large enough for a decent sized event ). Nay ideas? Then please contact either hedgegrower@gmail.com or john_gaskin50@hotmail.com
Fund Raising Sub Committee.
If you think you can help, by joining a small committee to generate ideas as to methods of raising funds, and thus keeping us afloat, again please contact one or other of the above email addresses.
Help the Hatters Raffle.
We are due another raffle shortly following the very successful Xmas effort, but we are looking for the donation of prizes. We making prizes for this effort bottles of spirits, so if you are able to donate a bottle of something along those lines please contact john_gaskin50@hotmail.com
Thank you for your continued support !

Help the Hatters- Doers not Talkers Surely the club could donate a prize such as a signed shirt or canvas or money can't buy travel to a match on the team bus. The work HTH does really benefits the club and saves them loads of money.

Aiming For 800000 + By Mid June 2020 ! It is around this time of year that old hedgie does an update of how things stand as regards hedgegrower.blogspot.comWell, as things stand the blog looks well placed to exceed 800k pv`s by 12 June 2020 which will be 7 years since switching from reporting via SCSCList Yahoo to the blogs current home. At this point I would like to thank Stockport County supporters across the globe for the brilliant support that has helped keep the seemingly endless supply of sporting hyperbole going! Currently the blog has reached 760, 249 pv`s , averaging currently 12255 pv`s a month, and there is a fairly consistent spread of readership which breaks down thus over the period since 2013:- UK 548192 USA 63015 Russia 22213 Germany 8786 Ukraine 7151 France 6669 Australia 6063 Spain 5907 Canada 4757 Others 47496 The most read article is `Sea of Blue – A Historic March……` from Feb 2013 ( 2379) which you can find in `County History` , whilst top match report is Wrexham 1 County 2 ( 1556) from Aug 2019. There are well over 800 articles on the blog, so open the drop down on the top left of page 1 and take a look….there`s County History, News & Views ,and lots of Help the Hatters stuff along with the Match Reports. So thanks again for the support- and here`s to cracking 800000 soon! hedgegrower

We are pleased to say that the blog succeeded in persuading County Historian Ian Watts to pen something for us, and with a County Museum now firmly established inside Edgeley Park, and another batch of County exhibits being contemplated for inclusion in exhibitions at Stockport Art Gallery , Ian`s chosen subject could not have been more appropriate: 2000 County Exhibition by Ian Watts hedgegrower.blogspot.com/2020/02/2000-county-exhibition.html
