that sounds a crappy commute, epworth. whether you come in off the M62 or A1 it's all choked up getting to york road.
not exactly the glamorous end then, working just off the ring road! that tesco itself is alright, it's just that the people who shop in it are groaning 'dawn of the dead'ers. are you on coal road then, or that run of businesses on the ring road itself just past the roundabout?

'Err remarkable. The swordfish has taken out the shark with a scything tackle from behind.' 'And it's in the back of the net. Son, give me the net. They don't let you catch the fish here. Let me explain, officer...' i really liked this^, but guiseley afc have pissed me right off, and i have developed a frown which i suspect will last all day.

Deary me. What is it about games in Yorkshire?!
At least we have a bit more notice about this one - although our fixture-list must fast be running out of free midweek slots...

still really p*ssed off about it. have just watched this:
to cheer myself up, but even that only partially worked.
i'd also forgotten about this oddity:
complete with elton c*cking welsby
**EDIT** i'd got irritated with the city clip launching every time i looked at a new post on the thread, so i've removed them!

Celebrity fan, Ken Morley? More like Morley was just wrapping up his 'Street' work for the day and they dragged him in for a bit of overtime.
I hated Granada's football coverage back in those days, utter shitefest.

hopefully a couple of the rearrangements will be later on after i've done my time...will be able to get to them more easily then...although for the BPA and today's i would have been having the cushy little number of being picked up and taken...not an opportunity i get often living out here......and now an opportunity i won't get. b*ggeration.

still, have productively used my time today buying loads of sh*t on amazon. that's a result then.
anybody read 'the nowhere men' about footy scouts, or 'hatters, railwaymen and knitters: travels through england's football provinces' (the hatters being the other hatters unfortunately.

I have the latter book, exile - and it's a good read.
Just been using my free afternoon for a spell of shoe shopping therapy... albeit for squash shoes, so not TOO girly:-)

Back from The Deep and below is my match report. The kids were well behaved during the whole trip but we achieved it mainly by bribing them with chocolate and buying fluffy crap from the shop. I think I'd call that Parents 1 - 1 Kids. I think I'd have taken that before kick-off; a creditable score draw for Mum and Dad. (For the record, no fish were hurt during the playing of the game). Over and out.

a_r_s, at the risk of being told to get a room by Sandy, I'm just off Ramshead Approach. You are right about the Tescos, nice store but well over half of them have clearly not had a wash for a few days. And that's just the staff. I go A1, A64 so the traffic isn't too bad, it's just sooooooo far away! A real shame about today. It seems my weather forecasting is as good as predicting County results.

Sounds as if The Deep was drier than Guiseley's pitch !
Sea Life Centre Blackpool still open but year's since I went.
Spent today working with our agoraphobic springer spaniel !!! So far he has ripped 3 towels to shreds, attacked a cushion, a draught excluder, two squeaky bones,a tennis ball and his bed. He loves his food but does not like going on his lead for walks. Answers to the name of Hendrix (or bl**dy little s*d at the moment).
He's brilliant on the lead when we eventually get out of the gate but he can't wait to come home. I have had to boss him 3 times today with the "eye contact Mexican stand off" technique. 3-0 left footed hat-trick to me. He is a lovable little rogue but with special needs. Work in progress as they say !

Really annoying these postponements. Still went to Leeds and met up with my daughter. Saw the Hobbitt part 2 and them went to Nandos. She's got a placement at Seacroft hospital coming up soon. Can't get overhoe many shops and eateries thre ate in the city centre. Spilt for choice.
