We have our first tie!
I have now set up a poll which will run until midday next Friday, for everyone to vote again - but this time it must be for one of our three leaders: Blazing Saddles, Breakfast at Tiffany's or Breakfast Club, The.
Week C will start on Sunday / Monday.
Thanks

I'll put forward the case for Blazing Saddles.
Gene Wilder.
I rest my case.

I think I'll opt for Blazing Saddles. Not just for the brilliance of Gene Wilder, but also for the bravery of Mel Brooks' message that racial discrimination isn't just a 'black and white' issue:
"...We'll give some land to the (insert other word they used for the black people) and the (insert other word they used for the Chinese), but we don't want the Irish"... Cue cheers from the black and Chinese people.
He was just right on the money with that.
Superb movie, vote changed.

Blazing Saddles was on my shortlist. It is a fine, fine film and would be a great addition to the CHIME catalogue. However, I'm sticking with my original choice of Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Blazing Saddles is excellent but for me it is the personal affiliations with breakfast club plus its soundtrack that win out.
