Far too many films to choose from this week - what's your favourite?
Here are your five starters:
Back to the Future (1985)
Batman (1989)
Ben-Hur (1959)
Blade Runner (1982)
Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961)

For anyone who knows me, it will come as no surprise that I am personally voting for Back to the Future.

Was thinking Barbarella for obvious reasons but I have to go with Ben Hur this time around.

Breakfast Club, The. An iconic 80s movie that I still love to this day. Although back to the future is also excellent Great shout, Duds, a brilliant movie. The late Paul Gleason was fantastic in the role of the school Principal, Richard Vernon. I'm soooooo tempted to change my vote..... .....ah, sod it, I'm with you, Duds. Breakfast Club, The gets the vote from me too!

It's Breakfast for me, too - but ...At Tiffany's.
Iconic performance by Audrey Hepburn; cute scenes involving a cat; a great version of a standard song (Moon River), even though it isn't sung perfectly; and some genuinely funny screenplay.
Quite simply, one of the all-time great movies. Mrs Macc and I bought our rings there, too.
Could have done without the Deep Blue Something's tribute-tune, mind...

Another comedy for me, Blazing Saddles.
"See that?"
"Yep, steady as a rock."
"Yeah, but I shoot with this hand."

Oh no, I've just thought about the blues brothers... >: | Ah well, I'm still sticking with Breakfast Club, unless a tactical vote is needed elsewhere!

Another nearly impossible task for B...
Back to the Future - obviously Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure - much quoted throughout my youth Barton Fink - brilliant weirdness from the Cohen brothers Blazing Saddles - already mentioned, and deserves to be on the shortlist for the horse punch alone! Blue Velvet - great cast, disturbing film Betty Blue - favourite of every school boy of a certain age!
But my vote goes to the brilliant Breakfast at Tiffany's. Great story, great script, classic scenes (such as the priceless cocktail party) and the extraordinarily beautiful Audrey Hepburn. (Apparently Trueman Capote wanted Marilyn Monroe in the lead - thankfully it went to the adorable Audrey and an icon was made) 'That's right. I'm just crazy about Tiffany's!' (...and Audrey Hepburn)

2 of my favourite trilogy's start with B in the already mentioned Back to the Future films and in my opinion brilliant The Bourne films (the proper ones with Matt Damon) which the new one should be out late July this year and I can't wait, But sticking with the funny film theme (Think i'll be changing my name to Comedyfan for this thread!) Gene Wilder is probably my favourite actor of all time and will be appearing in quite a few of my choices I will be going with Blazing Saddles, the first time I saw it I was laughing that much I missed most of the film so had to watch it again straight away to fill in the blanks that I missed.

I'll second CountyFans choice of the Bourne films. All great entertainment and films you watch many times.
