Whilst my father in law was rejoicing the villas woes he came across this page on the BBC. Sadly villa have the second worst victory ratio in the football league and premiership since 2010. m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39015629

yeah, quite interesting reading about their woes. didn't realise we'd make the chart, although our contribution was only that one season, 2010-11. christ, it was depressing. fours and fives against every week it seemed, home and away.

Indeed, he'll be mortarfied if he ends up on the losing team. I also hear the oppostion are playing in short sleeves - exercising their right to bare arms.

No chance of any friendly fire from the National League side then!

It would appear that bad behaviour is not a new phenomenon amongst the county faithful.
This is an extract of the match report on COWS from Easter 1967...
John Archers' shot hit the underside of the bar and appeared to bounce back into play but, after consulting with his linesman, the referee awarded a goal.
Edgeley Park erupted in anger. "The Crewe equaliser two minutes from time was the spark to cause an explosion of wild temper, strong enough to cause an assassination in some foreign lands," wrote the Stockport Advertiser.
And that temper boiled over at the end when the Cheadle Enders invaded the pitch. A Crewe player was hit by a dart, and the match officials needed an escort to get off the pitch safely.

That'll no doubt be snapped up by Gordon Taylor and used as 'intelligence'. Mounted police, Helicopter and SWAT team at EP tomorrow, then!

U18 County Blues beat U18 County Greys 5-1 earlier which I believe means County Blues won the league.
