Last, but by no means least, we come to Week Z, and Lennie is here to take us out in style. Over to you, Leonard...
Zits
Horrible name for a horrible affliction. We have all spent many teenage hours splatting the little sods on the bathroom mirror only to find that the resulting pock-marked moon-surface on your face is worse than the original lumps. Even worse is the use of the American word to replace the well-worn name of acne. (Although it does come in useful when trying to get rid of the Z at the end of a game of scrabble).
Zips
Highly useful implements and a very clever invention (Mr Whitcomb L Judson - Chicago). "Why the vault then?" I hear you ask. Well, gentlemen - and I am speaking to gentlemen - you will understand if you have ever caught parts of your wedding tackle in the said contraption. Blood and skin bits fly profusely. The pain is pure agony and a trip to hospital is both inevitable and embarrassing. Brilliant things when they work, but how many favourite and hardly worn items of clothing have you had to discard due to a malfunctioning fastening ?
Zombie Films
Why is it that the default setting for directors and producers wanting to induce a little fear and tension into their "piece de resistance" is to bring in (literally) a bunch of dead-beats who refuse to shake off their mortal coil. Thus, allowing all Halloween door knockers to spike their hair, paint their faces with green and red gore and rip their clothes before demanding money with menaces. Asking them to sing at least 3 verses of a Christmas Carol usually does the trick. We haven't had a single trick or treater for 4 years now! Can't think why. For the final time - the choice is yours.

I'll start us off. Despite Lennie putting me right off my dessert with his first two choices, I'm going to go for 'zits'.
Zips, whilst painful if caught, are equally quite useful and easier to operate that buttons (especially when it comes to flies).
Not a huge fan of zombie films per se, but I love 'Shaun of the Dead' so I can't put them in either.
Zits it is.

Although I didn't have that many in my youth, when I did get them the little b*st*rds almost always used to surface when I was going somewhere important. Horrible things. Zips can be dangerous, but I've not managed to catch myself in them yet - touch wood ! Zombie movies don't really bother me as I don't usually watch them, with the exception of Shaun Of The Dead which is a fantastic movie, as are the rest of The Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy. So get into the Vault, Zits! Good choices, Lennie!

Going to be zips for me, useful as they may be, by god my eyes just water thinking about the pain caused when thing get caught in them.
Zits, I have never really suffered with them thankfully and I have no real opinion on Zombie films.

If you recall to last weeks Y, I put in the Y-fronts as I don't wear underwear so there can only be one winner (or maybe loser) for me this week and that is zips! There's nothing worse than catching your "mini me" in one making your eyes water and "him" to resemble one of the the Nik-Naks crisps!! Button fly jeans all the way for me!!

Just reading the zip section had me wincing in recollection of the two times it has happened to me, plus as an additional reason the number of times I've had to 'rescue' little kids from inside their stuck zipped coats really infuriates me.
Zits were never really a problem for me and that's why they all have make up these days! (even the boys)
Zombie films just make me laugh they are the lowest form of horror and essentially cringeworthy.

Thought anyone would struggle with the letter Z, but there's some great choices there Lennie.
Zips are useful so no issues there. Its a toss up between zits and zombie films. Guess zits are somehwat natural at a certain age whereas Zombie films arent and maybe its just me but they just dont turn me on...
So here's to ridding the planet of useless zombie films...

Zips are far better than buttons, the golden rule is always make sure your underwear is covering any dangly bits before zipping up!
I love a good Zombie Film/TV Series - Dead Set/Shaun of the Dead/World War Z/28 Days Later etc - are all superb so to rid the World of them would be a travesty!
I was bullied quite horrendously in school (until I lamped one of the main bullies, miraculously stopped shortly after!) and my puberty years with all the spots and sweatiness that comes with it didn't do much to help, so for me it's got to be Zits!

Anyone else trying desperately not to imagine Fudgie's sweaty dangly bits?
Put me right off dessert, that has.
We're having spotted dick.

They were completely separate statements! I already said I got bullied in school, don't bring it into the forum or else you might suffer the same fate as my school bully haha!

Up until today, I would probably have opted to consign Zits to eternal hell - thereby ridding much of the nation's youth of a cruel, additional angst-source. But, on the train home tonight, after twelve hours of working to meet a series of assessment-deadlines, my rucksack split open - spilling a shed-load of paperwork all over the floor. And, with that rotten end to a tiring day still all too fresh in my mind, Zips can do one so far as I'm concerned...
