In a moment of optimism / madness, I have decided to try and join as many fora from around the league as possible. Some clubs don't seem to have a forum, and some are very restrictive on who can join, but I am now a fully-fledged member of Chorley FC's 'Magpies In Space' and BPA's forum, and I'm pleased to report one kindly Chorley fan has just donated in response!

Indeed it is! I also had far more success joining other fora last night (it seems that, alphabetically, the latter clubs are far more amenable to 'people who aren't from round these parts') and a kindly Nuneaton fan has just promised to donate and try to pop down to meet us on the day, but only if we take some household waste of his with us, 'being as you're going total the tip straight after'!
No love lost with Tamworth then!

On the back of our plugging the trip through Facebook, I shall be appearing on Radio Tameside next Saturday (28th) from around 3.50pm to talk about it further. The powers-that-be there originally had a half-hour slot in mind, but have since extended it to an hour for a follow-up chat about the non-league scene more generally. Good that Curzon Ashton and Stalyvegas have been very supportive of us, so that I can give both local clubs a nice shout-out! Will try and post a link to the show on here, for those who cannot tune in...

Chorley have taken an early lead in terms of donations from other clubs so far. Two donations since I joined their forum on Friday. Plenty of messages of support from other clubs too.

Morning all
One thing Maccy and I would like to do on this trip is meet at least one fan at each ground - preferably a few - and get photos taken. Ideally we would have a mix of exiled County fans and fans from those other clubs as well.
As a reminder, here is the itinerary, with a few Heaveners who have already confirmed they will try to meet us pencilled in:
Saturday 25th June 2016
Stockport County 08:00 Stalybridge Celtic 08:25 Curzon Ashton 08:45 FC United of Manchester 09:10 Chorley 10:00 AFC Fylde 10:45 (BBLW) Bradford PA 12:15 Harrogate Town 13:15 (Harrogate Hatter) North Ferriby United 15:00 Gainsborough Trinity 16:00 Alfreton Town 17:20 Boston United 19:15
Sunday 26th June 2016
Lowestoft Town 09:00 Corby Town 11:45 (Market Harborough) Brackley Town 13:00 Gloucester City 14:30 Worcester City 15:30 Solihull Moors 16:30 Nuneaton Town 17:10 Tamworth 17:45 Hednesford Town 18:15 AFC Telford 19:00 Stockport County 21:00
If you live near to any of the other grounds, we would really appreciate your support, and would love to say hi on our travels. Please let us know so that we can fill the remainder of the list in.
Please also send me a PM with your mobile number (if I don't already have it), so that we can be in touch on the day with a more accurate eta.
Of course, if you like in the hallowed SK3 area and would like to wave us off and cheer us home, that would be fantastic too.
Thanks in advance!

You mean something like
"32 to go......"
(With at least two dozen pics)
Can we count on your company at Bratfud?
