I swear the matching shorts were a coincidence (and those are car keys in my pocket, in case you were wondering).

When I saw the shorts and the word 'Throwback' underneath, I thought you guys were being cyberbullied. Thankfully it's not that at all. But seriously, well done again! Imagine what good has come of that money from your kind act.

Well, well, well.
Today marks the first anniversary of the monumental road trip that myself and Maccy embarked upon for Kidscan. I can safely say that it remains (and will remain for some time) one of the most rewarding, challenging and ultimately fun achievements of my life. We travelled over 1,000 miles in two days, met some fantastic people, visited all the grounds in our league plus six bonus grounds, and, most importantly, raised over £2,200 for a very worthwhile cause.
A huge thank you once again to everyone who supported us, cheered us on, came to meet us as we travelling around the country, and contributed to that amazing total.
Finally, a special thanks to my travel companion, Maccy. We had a lot of laughs along the way, and never fell out once (even when Starship came on my road trip playlist!)
What a top bunch we have on County Heaven - long may that continue.
Cheers x

Can hardly believe a year has passed since the trip - although encounters with the likes of 'Alfreton Callum', 'Matthew and Daniel' at Lowestoft and a dogging Scunthorpe couple do probably remain rather more uncomfortably fresh in the memory than they should! It was a fab weekend in every respect - Starship notwithstanding - and fingers are now crossed for County's promotion in the coming season, so that next summer's charity venture can take us even further afield.
