Hip Hip Hooray !!!!
A win is a win, away from home as well.
Would have been disappointed with any other result.
Clean sheet as well. That's important.

good stuff. i've thought we should be getting the odd goal out of sean o'hanlon because he really attacks his defensive headers and is really commanding at the back. glad also that marsden has opened his account. good start.

Great interview Macca. Interesting he has clarified he's on a part time contract. With so much time before the next home game if we can get a couple of results in the lead up to it the club should really push ticket sales, billing it as JG's return with some good deals to boost the attendance. Wouldn't be surprised to see us get 4,000 with some ticket deals on.

Wouldn't be surprised to see us get 4,000 with some ticket deals on. I've already said this to a mate of mine here in Scouseland. Let's hope the players can use it to their advantage, make EP a fortress again and not buckle under the expectation. Jim will prepare them as best as he can for it, it just depends upon how much they want it both individually and as a team. Having said this, it's up to us fans to get behind them too. It's no good packing out EP and getting behind them for twenty mins and turning on them if we concede a goal, we've got to stay behind them. If we lose, we lose, but the players have to know that we are behind them and we need to prove we are, no matter what. That kind of support brings the best out of players and eases the pressure, then they can play with freedom and confidence.

Really enjoyed that game, felt like Stockport County again, not the sh*te that has been masquerading as a football club since McKnight got his claws in.
Thought we played some good football on a tough pitch, Big Kay looked dangerous at times but I think Brewster was a bit shocked by the state of the pitch.
Rule was Rule in the way he looked good and composed when he played but was knackered by the 10 minute mark.
Overall we looked very impressive, I thought that pitch was tailor made for an Ormson c*ck-up but he actually looked very good and solid in the game, he did have a little slip but he recovered well which is forgivable given the state of the pitch.
Can't wait for Gloucester on Saturday now, Jim's league re-re-debut!
