I have been trying to remember when it was, did we play this when we were on 606 website or have was it only when County Heaven was started? You're absolutely right, matey, Downy did indeed start this brilliant game back on 606. He's kept it going ever since! Superb achievement.

Thanks for the praise guys.
The prediction game was born at the end of the 2009/10 season during Gary Ablett's time as manager. There were 9 games left and it involved predicting the score of County's games, 1 point for County's score, 1 point for the other team's score and 1 point for the overall result. From memory I think gazza won, closely followed by Planet Of Sound.
I then copied a game that I'd played at work for the '98 World Cup in France for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. I think gts won that.
Next I copied another game from work where they picked 7 random games and whoever predicted all 7 won the money. If 90 people played, half went to this guy's football club and half became the prize money. With plenty of roll-overs the prize was quite high for a £1 stake. The club always made money as the prize was shared if there was more than one winner.
I've always pretended that a computer program works out the scores each week. Really it's just me with a piece of A4 and a maths O Level.
I'll keep running the prediction game as long as there are enough people that keep playing. It actually helps me keep in touch with the REAL football going on in Pommieland.

I'm sure you will not run out of people taking part Downy, it is really enjoyable to do.

You are an absolute star, Downey.
Abacus and fingers are all you need, sod these calculators and algorithms.
Keep up the good work.
