I shall leave the snow falling to remind myself that not everyone was sitting on the beach on December the first... smug enough with your new avatar pic duds? how about dudley castle instead so you're not rubbing our noses in it?

The amazing thing for me is that I can actually see that castle when I sit on my balcony and it is a 5 minute walk away. An 11th century Moorish castle which unlike Dudloi has not been destroyed!

Good work Gazz although I turn it off when watching match highlights. Cheers, archie. It must be an issue that can't be avoided, but as you say at least the snow can be turned on and off by the individual user. I'm glad you mentioned this to be honest, matey, as I'd actually forgotten about this issue. If anyone else is wishing to disable the Snowfall effect, please visit the following page for instructions on how to do so: countyheaven.freeforums.net/thread/4018/snowfall

As ever, a very nice effect. We've already had the real thing up here and scraping it off a frozen windscreen at 6am is not my idea of the ideal start to a day

I hope the weather doesn't affect you too much, mate. I do like winter walking as I'm properly kitted out for it and the mountains tend to be quiet when it's snowed (and it satisfies a certain masochistic streak I have) however as I slide relentlessly into the realms of grumpyoldmandom (some of you may have noticed lol) I can honestly say that when I had the choice, I should have chosen France, a warm part, where it doesn't snow and I don't have to scrape the car windows with a credit card before going to work. My fingers don't like it, particularly the ones that have been broken during sporting/climbing accidents, my knees hate the cold and every time I slip on the ice I fear the effects of falling over on a serially dislocated shoulder. Other than that it's great hahaha

Or try Malaga where, when the temperature slips to 15 or 14, the local dress as though they are defrosting their windscreens and having to trudge through the Antarctic to find Scott...

Whilst I was working in Leeds I worked with a couple of girls from Wakey who'd have thought you were a southern softlad if you had any more than a t-shirt on in those temperatures. Mind you one of them in particular looked like a prop forward so that might have something to do with it.
