At last it's decision time.
A magnificent 26 entries from a less impressive total of 7 people. But the quality was stupendous, as per usual. Perhaps everyone else is daunted by taking on the "masters of rhyme and humour", stand up - Macca, Archie, CF, Downey, Eppers, Gazza and Ceefer.
Straight to the awards then:-
3rd place - Tie between -
Ceefer - Who writes the tactical notes, your Mum?
and
CF - One day we'll rule like we're Harry Secombe!
2nd place - Tie between
Gazza - 'GRIBN KCBA IMJ', can anyone solve this conundrum?
and
Gazza - Never mind, play some Bowie and Bing; Pa-rum-pum-pum-pum!
and our winner this week:-
CEEFER with the superb line - First scorer gets a night out/in with Heidi Klum..
Which was obviously the motivation factor behind the own goal from Mr Connolly !!!
Others were very close (but just like County's attack - slightly off target).
As Archie says - Think again, nil desperandum.
