Ten points from Twelve - a great Christmas Return ! Keeping momentum is now of concern. Will "The Motormen" depart Like a "Mervia" golf-cart? No, as the goalmouth contains a Carolina pond fern.

I don't envy him having to pick a winner from that lot, Lennie! A brilliant turnout it's been too might I add! Agreed, Gazza.

In 3rd place is Gazza with his offering on our beloved CEOs return
Mcknight's back, things get worse - when will we ever learn?!
In 2nd place is Countyfan with his depressing offering on County's chances and England's World Cup chances
Or like Walcott's world cup dream, will we crash and burn?
Finally our winner is the inimitable sir roger with the burning question
Never mind that, what about these shares, Mr. Spencer Fearn?

I'll happily take that return to the podium, cheers, fudgie! Worthy winning line from Rog, and congrats also to county fan on another podium. Cheers as always to Lennie for keeping this going, and for Fudgie's wisdom!

Well judged, Fudgie - and well done, Rog.

Crikey, to win this week's offering really is an achievement, simply because this one has had the best entries I can recall for a very, very long time. Glad I wasn't judging. Thanks to Mr. Fearn, Fudgie, fellow CH poets and of course, Len for creating the whole thing.

Cheers Fudgie, wise choices in a difficult week. A very high standard.
Thank you all for entering and congrats to Sir Rog.
The new comp. is already out there for you to enjoy.
