To add to the wise words from fellow Heaveners...
You've got to experience the lows to appreciate the highs. (Believe us, we know!)
Best of luck to Rolvsoy in the next match.

After one more game without a win, losing in their derby, making it three straight losses, Jarkko was understandably getting frustrated with his side.
He'll be delighted then that in the game last night (Monday evening) they took on a title challenging side and ran out 4-2 winners!

All the very best of luck for next week, mate. Your team seem to have good spirit and belief to be able to bounce back with 4-2 win, and that is half the battle in football. If you want it enough and believe in yourself, you can achieve it, just ask Rickie Lambert!
Keep up the brilliant work you're doing, Jarkko!

Huge game tonight for our favourite Norwegian team!
They face Sparta Sarpsborg, this is the big one. They absolutely hate each other. Not only did Sparta take some Rolvsoy players recently they are also rival cities so there is no love lost anyway.
Did I mention that Jarkko used to both play for and coach at Sparta as well. All the ingredients for a tasty derby!

He's up against it. Most of his players play for the love of the game whereas Sparta are all semi pro and are sleeping giants in Norwegian football.

Ah, but how many times in the history of football around the world have we a seen a so-called 'lesser' team beat the more talented one through sheer desire and will to win? Too many to mention! I still say it will be 3-2 to Rolvsoy!

Long time no updates! Sadly we lost 5-3 to Sparta after leading 3-2 ten minutes before full time. Since then we have played two more games and won both. First 3-1 away to promotion chasing Gressvik and then 4-3 at home yesterday to won of the bottom teams. Its now summer brake and we are lying in seventh place with one game less then the teams ahead. We have only four points up til fourth place and 9 up to The leaders. There you go. Thanks for your support and hope to see you soon:) maybe in norway for our thrilling derby match away to Lisleby friday september 12th Cheers Jarkko

Sounds like a pretty good first half of the season, Jarkko. All the best to Rolvsoy in the second half, as you push for a top spot. Show County how it's done!

yeah, with an entirely new team that's a good start. lots of goals in your games too. might be a manager's headache, but i'm sure it would be more entertaining for the fans than some of the dross we've been watching in stockport.
good luck to the team when the league resumes.
